Noro has Knots

I'm almost 50% through the Lady Eleanor stole. I'm about halfway through the 5th skein of Noro Kureyon and I noticed a knot in the yarn. This is not the first one I've came across since beginning this project and I find this to be very annoying to find knots like this. Anyway I'm getting tired of this project and want it finished. I have committed myself to quite few other things so I'm determined to get this done by the end of this month. Think I'll make it??

What Next

In the Works - I’m still working on the Lady Eleanor Entrelac stole. Plus I have three crochet related swaps going on from CAL Pals.

As for knitting since I’m still on a sweater kick, I’m debating the following three projects:

~ Ribby Shell Bonne Marie Burns from ChicKnits
~ Shaped Ribbon Tee by AimeeJessica from Craftster
~ Soleil by Alexandra Virgiel from Knitty

Decisions, decisions, decisions. And I still need to get some spinning in!

Some things to keep me busy

Fleece!! Compliments from my spinning instructor at the LYS. Most of it needs to be carded. I really got to get busy with the spinning.

Speaking of the LYS, I went to their monthly knitting meet up. It was a lot of fun, there were ladies there of all ages knitting, chatting while munching on cheese & crackers and sipping on wine. I worked on my Lady Eleanor stole which is slowly coming along.

And for my reading pleasure thanks to some gift certificates I received from Amazon & Borders. So far I've only completed a project from Loop-d-Loop. My goal is to do something a month from each book. Uh huh ;-)

Some FO's

I have been on a sweater kick for some reason. Here are a few I recently I completed.

Pattern: Ballet T-Shirt from Loop D Loop
Yarn: Cascade Yarns Sierra (double stranded), color 5
Needles: Denise Interchangeables, Size 15

Pattern: Zephyr Style Green Gable
Yarn: Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece, color CW640 Spryte
Needles: Addi Circular Turbos, size 6 and Clover DPNs, size 4

And this is the minisweater aka boob holder by Glampyre Knits. I also used Brown Sheep Cotton Fleece in Pink-a-Boo and Buttercream.

A few quick cozies I did after getting the idea from the Techno Episode of The Knitty Gritty on the DIY channel. I made four, two for my cells, one for my Ipod and one for my Palm. I lost one of the cell cozies already. Good thing I didn't loose the actual phone. I used Caron Simply Soft and some unnamed novelty yarn.

And lastly a crocheted shawl done in Joann Rainbow Boucle. Sorry for the bad picture, it was taken with a cell. I ended up giving it away to someone who wanted it. Pattern was based on the Alpaca Angel Shawl by Kristin.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all.

On another note I've been bad with blogging, life has really been busy with family stuff, work, getting my yard together, etc. I have managed to complete a few projects though and will try and sit down long enough to get things posted. I even managed to attend a local knitting meet up which was a blast. More details soon on everything, I promise.
