Here are two quick projects I'm working on. A easy knitted scarf using Bernat Soft Boucle and a round ripple afghan using TLC:

Suede Skirt
Last year I made Donna Rutledge's Magda Cardigan jacket. I decided to do a skirt to go with it. Simply done in sc crocheted in the round. I added elastic to the waistband and I am in the process of lining it.

Jazzy Boucle Cardigan Complete
Yesterday I went to Atlantic City. I didn't win anything but I didn't loose any money either. Basically I broke even. I had a good time though. Friends from Maryland came up and went with me. The trip was a fund raiser for an upcoming family reunion. This morning I picked up the cardigan and finished it. This really was an easy project that can be completed in about two hours.
Note: edited to add the issue of Simply Creative Crochet 2005 that the pattern was in:

Jazzy Cardigan Progress
Celeste's Aran Tote Bag
I did something new this past week. I tested a pattern for a fellow hooker. The pattern is Celeste's Aran tote bag. I used Red Heart in lilac with a H hook.

Olympic Time
I decided to participate in the 2006 Olympic Crochet Along. I picked a project I've been wanting to do - the Jazzy Boucle Cardigan from Simply Creative Crochet. The CAL began on Friday, February 10. I haven't started yet, I'm currently testing a pattern for a fellow hooker. I plan to start the jacket as soon as I'm done with the testing.
Pattern calls for Lion Boucle but I'm using Bernat Boucle with the body in a mauve color and cream trim.
Yarn Shopping
Suede L&B Done
I ran into problems with the suede afghan. It's gotten very stretchy and ruffly. I think it's the yarn because I didn't run into problems with the purple/lilac one. After frogging a few times and readjusting the stitches, I'm still not happy with it so I'm calling it quits. It's large enough as it is. It's time to move on to other projects.
