Crocheted Bubble Wrap

Well guess what! I finally finished a crocheted project. With the exception of a few squares I haven't done any crocheting in over a year. I started this project last Saturday and finished yesterday. I used a very quick stitch pattern (I call it the bubble stitch).

Yarn is Noro Matsuri, a cotton, wool blend (mostly cotton). It was my first time using this particular Noro yarn. I loved working with it and am unhappy that it's been discontinued.

Orange Clapotis Finished

I haven't posted a knitted project in years. Actually I haven't completed many projects at all. I think I finished a bag last year and maybe 3 shawls. I have been posting my finished objects over at Ravelry.

So since I'm determined to do better at blogging I'm posting this Clapotis that I finished. I made it for my loctician for Christmas. A loctician is a beautician, someone who specializes in hair locs. Anyway Cinzia my loctician loves the color orange. I had the perfect yarn, 4 skeins of Cascade 220 wool, so I knitted up this orange clappy for her. She loves it. This was the 4th Clapotis I've done. It is a simple project to knit though the straight section of knitting seems neverending.
